Elmore Church of Christ
Who are we?
We are the Church of Christ of Elmore, Alabama. We are a family of people who realize our
own imperfections and our need for a perfect Saviour, Jesus Christ. -Ephesians 1:7
We are a body of penitent, baptized believers who voluntarily assemble for worship, study,
and Christian fellowship. We share a genuine interest in the physical, emotional and
spiritual welfare of every member of the Church that meets here. We desire to teach only
what is true (-John 17:17). We propose to model the truth taught. We propose to do so by
serving!
We don't claim an affiliation with any denomination; we just claim to follow Christ and His
teachings that we find in the bible. We aren't perfect and we don't claim to be. We are
ordinary people just like you who have found an extraordinary God that loves us enough to
want us to have a relationship with Him. -Colossians 2:6-10
And to prove it, He allowed His Son, Jesus, to die so that we might live one day with Him
forever. -Colossians 1:19-20
But that's not all. We have found that God has a wonderful plan for our lives. In His Word
we have found the route to happiness, the remedy for heartaches, and the recipe for success.
In a word, all of that is found in Jesus. We would love to share Him with you, too.
-Philippians 4:6-7
If you don't have a church family, give us an opportunity to love you and serve you in the
Spirit of Christ. -Romans 16:16

enjoy strong meaningful relationships; however, we make no effort to draw people to God by
any other means other than through worship.

be"big".
